Jacqueline Watson

Jacqueline, a proud El Paso native, earned her J.D. at the University of Texas School of Law and has been practicing immigration law in Austin since 1999. She is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has over 27 years of experience representing clients in family-based immigration, asylum, naturalization, and removal defense.

Jacqueline began her legal career with American Gateways and continues to serve her community through public service and education. She co-chairs the University of Texas CLE Immigration Law Conference and actively contributes to the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) where she holds a leadership position.

Her legal expertise has been recognized by Texas Super Lawyers and featured in media outlets like The New York Times and This American Life.

Sandra Posada

Sandra is a native of Mexico, and an alumna off the University of Texas in Austin, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in government. She obtained her J.D. from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law, and has been practicing immigration and criminal law in Austin since 2014. 

As an immigrant herself, Sandra brings compassion and a deep understanding to her client’s journeys. She specializes in citizenship and naturalization, family-based immigration, defense from removal, visas for victims of crime and human trafficking, complex immigration matters and criminal defense. 

Clients trust Sandra for her empathy, methodical approach, and dedication to fighting for their success. Her  ability to connect with clients and navigate challenging cases makes her a reliable and compassionate advocate for families on their immigration journey.
